About the Job

The job involves standard nursing assistant tasks such as sampling and handling of samples, assisting doctors during treatments/examinations, monitoring blood pressure and EKG, wound dressings, and inventory tasks.

The position also includes primary responsibility for the laboratory with associated equipment checks, ordering of materials, and training of new staff.

With us, you will have a varied and meaningful job where you as a nursing assistant contribute to providing our patients with safe and professional care. You will work closely with both nurses and doctors and have an important role in the daily operations at the clinic.

About the Workplace

The Särö Health Center is the northernmost health center operated by the region. We are located in the center of Särö and have approximately 6,000 patients registered with us. We are a modern health center that always aims forward and has high ambitions regarding renewed working methods and workplace satisfaction. Good working environment, accessibility, and pleasant interactions are our guiding principles.

We currently have several training doctors and three permanent specialists in general medicine. In addition to the medical clinic, we also have a district nurse clinic, laboratory, asthma/COPD, and diabetes clinics. We have special clinics for smoking cessation and risk use. The health center also includes child health care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychological services, and a rehabilitation team. The operation is HBTQI-certified. Our responsibilities also include care for a special residence for the elderly. Next door to the health center, we have a pharmacy.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant and who want to contribute to safe and quality care. To succeed in the role, you need to have:

• Experience in sampling and handling of samples
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. This is important to ensure good and safe communication with patients, colleagues, and other contacts.

We would also like you to have:

• Previous experience working in a health center
• Experience in sampling children
• Good knowledge in wound dressings
• Knowledge of the Cosmic journal system
• Basic computer skills
• Training in sample handling/laboratory techniques

Since we work closely in our team, we see that you have good collaboration skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
