Water Engineer at Falu Energi & Vatten

The Planning and Project VA group is responsible for planning, investigation, and projects primarily within the water and sewage network, as well as water supply and treatment plants.

Work as a Water Engineer

In the role of Water Engineer, you will have varied days with great freedom to plan your daily work. You will primarily work with various types of water engineering investigations. Your daily work involves close collaboration with others in the group and also with the Pipe Technology group.

Your tasks include:

Water engineering investigations and planning of the water system, such as investigating measures in the existing pipeline network, inflow water, stormwater management, and upstream work.
Water legal investigations regarding, for example, responsibility boundaries.
Basic pre-design or design depending on experience.
Dimensioning of the pipeline network.
Contact with customers.

Your profile

Your structured and solution-oriented attitude, along with your responsiveness, will help you succeed in this role.

You who are applying have:

Relevant engineering education. Alternatively, a vocational education and at least two years of work experience in water or land.
Good computer and IT skills.
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
Driver's license B.

It is an advantage if you have:

Experience in water project design.
GIS knowledge.
CAD knowledge, Civil 3D or Novapoint.
Experience in hydraulic dimensioning of water pipelines.
Experience in modeling water pipeline networks, Mike+.
