At our stations in Borlänge, Ludvika, Falun, and Bjursås, you will have a varied and social workday where you meet customers and combine your technical interest in vehicles with a sense of service. As an inspection technician, you contribute to increased traffic safety in Sweden through thorough and safety-focused vehicle inspections, while also creating a positive customer experience.

Flexibility that gives you more experience and development

The position is based in Borlänge, but you will also work at our stations in Ludvika, Falun, and Bjursås. This gives you the chance to get to know all your colleagues, meet a wide customer base, and work with different types of vehicles and environments. We see mobility as an advantage; you gain greater experience, broader skills, and a stronger network in the region. We plan the work well in advance, but changes may sometimes occur at short notice if needed.

From vehicle interest to certified technician

To succeed in the role, you will receive comprehensive training that leads to you becoming a certified inspection technician for the vehicles you will inspect. During and after the training, you will always have the support of a mentor and experienced colleagues until you feel confident in the role.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in vehicles and technology
• Has a keen eye for detail and enjoys working according to safety requirements
• Is committed to continuously developing your skills
• Is good at creating and maintaining good customer relationships
• Thrives in a dynamic environment and can quickly adapt to changes
• Enjoys working flexibly and sees the opportunity to work at several stations as a chance for variety, learning, and community
• Speaks and writes Swedish fluently
• Has good vehicle knowledge and technical competence
• Holds a B driver's license (manual)

Meritorious: Work experience and/or education in automotive technology, sales, and service. A motorcycle license is also a plus.

About the position

We offer a full-time position that starts with a six-month probationary period, after which it will transition to a permanent position. Working hours are varied and scheduled over all days of the week, including evenings and weekends. Some work at other stations in the local area will occur.

We offer inspections for most types of vehicles, from cars and motorcycles to heavy vehicles like trucks, buses, and trailers. In addition to the standard inspections, we also offer our customers extra safety checks through our additional packages, where we provide your vehicle with an extra thorough review.
