Description

The specialist dental care is represented throughout the Västra Götaland region mainly at five specialist centers offering specialist dental care in all specialties.

The Specialist Clinic for Orthodontics Mölndal/Stenungsund is a clinic with two service points. The clinic in Mölndal is located at Mölndal Hospital in one of Folktandvården's specialist centers where all specialties are represented. We have a close collaboration with other specialties, including joint therapy meetings for patients requiring multidisciplinary care.

At the Mölndal/Stenungsund clinic, 23 people work, including 4 orthodontists, one ST dentist, and one merit dentist. We have a dental laboratory adjacent to the clinic in Mölndal.

At the clinic in Stenungsund, 8 people currently work, including 2 orthodontists and one merit dentist.

Responsibilities

In the position of specialist dentist, clinical work, orthodontic specialist treatment of children and adults, delegated work with orthodontic assistants, supervision of ST dentists and merit dentists, as well as training of other staff are included. As part of our mission, we have consultations for Folktandvården and private dental care through physical and digital meetings. Collaboration occurs between the service points Mölndal and Stenungsund.

Qualifications

You are a licensed dentist with a specialist degree in orthodontics recognized in Sweden. Clinical experience and familiarity with modern treatment methods are advantageous. You are interested in developing the specialty and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues both in specialist and general dental care. You have an interest in conveying knowledge and providing guidance. At Folktandvården, we see collaboration as our strength, so it is important that we can work well together. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. In your daily work, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks so that we can solve challenges and feel secure together for those we serve. ST dentists in orthodontics are also welcome to apply for the position.
