Do you want to work with advanced mechanical design in technically complex R&D projects? We are looking for a solution-oriented mechanical design engineer who wants to contribute to the development of the future's rotating machines.

About the role

You will be part of an experienced R&D team working on the development of large rotating machines. The role involves responsibility for mechanical design from idea to finished solution, where you contribute both technical expertise and innovative ideas. You will work independently to identify and solve industrial problems and actively participate in research and development projects. The role also includes close collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous technical knowledge exchange.

Responsibilities:

• Mechanical design and development in R&D projects
• Identify, propose, and implement technical improvements and innovations
• Take technical responsibility throughout the development chain
• Actively contribute to technical discussions within the area of expertise
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to achieve the best solution

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

You are a hands-on engineer with a strong technical understanding and a genuine interest in mechanical design. You work in a structured manner, value quality, and thrive in an environment where collaboration and personal responsibility go hand in hand.

Qualifications:

• Experienced mechanical engineer with advanced CAD skills (NX is a plus)
• Background in mechanical design, preferably related to rotating machines
• Knowledge of lubrication systems is a plus
• Ability to work independently and drive technical issues
• Good collaboration skills in interdisciplinary teams
