Do you want to work with modern electronics in RFID technology within a close-knit team where every individual makes a real difference?

At Elgab in Smedjebacken, you will be involved in building antennas and readers for the automotive industry, products that are used in real, demanding environments every day. You will become an important part of a knowledgeable and tight-knit team of five people with a high sense of community. You will work closely with the entire production chain and be involved from component to finished product, making the tasks varied; your work will be both meaningful and developing.

In the role of electronics assembler, you will work with:

  • Assembling electronics, supported by drawings and instructions.
  • Testing products at various stages of the process.
  • Soldering cables and smaller circuit boards for antennas.

You will work with thermosetting plastics and allergenic products by:

  • Embedding coils in antenna housings and ensuring correct fixation.
  • Painting details on housings.

What are we looking for:

We are looking for someone who is meticulous in their execution and has a strong ability to collaborate. As a person, you are a social team player who enjoys working in a group. You have a high work ethic and are quality-conscious with a willingness and understanding that your participation is an important part of achieving production goals and deadlines.

We are looking for someone who has previously worked in electronics assembly or has a technical or electrical education. You have some computer skills to handle simpler test programs and you can manage Office.

Requirements:

  • Education in technology or electrical engineering.
  • Experience in soldering.
  • Technical interest and ability to read drawings and understand instructions.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

It is advantageous if you:

  • Can read/draw electronic schematics.
  • Handle CAD drawings for mechanical construction.
  • Have a post-secondary education in CAD, electrical engineering, electronics, or technology.
