What does the role entail? As a project manager at Swedavia, you are responsible for the entire project process, from planning to completed project, focusing on time, budget, quality, work environment, and sustainability. The work includes scheduling, procurement, financial follow-up, and reporting. You lead meetings, participate in quality and environmental work, and ensure that the project meets goals, budget, and timelines.

Your role varies between lead project manager and sub-project manager, reporting to the project sponsor and responsible project manager. The location is Gothenburg Landvetter Airport, and travel may occur as part of the job.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant post-secondary education, e.g., construction engineer, or work experience that provides equivalent knowledge in construction project management.

• 3-5 years of experience as a project manager in construction, civil engineering, or technical projects.

• Experience in installation coordination or technical interfaces, preferably in projects with multiple disciplines.

• Negotiation skills and experience with financial regulations in contracts.

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

• Ability to read and understand technical documents, system solutions, and installation drawings.

• A good understanding of installations within water and sewage, control and monitoring, electrical, IT, and communication systems.

It is an advantage if you have experience in:

• Previous work as an installation coordinator, designer, technical manager, project engineer, or similar.

• Experience in projects with a high degree of technical integration.

As a person, you are self-driven and goal-oriented with good collaboration skills. You are a skilled team builder and communicator who guides the team towards common goals. Furthermore, you are structured and solution-oriented with the ability to prevent and manage arising problems.
