RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a specialist nurse assistant, you will be a role model and inspire the application of a salutogenic approach at the individual, group, and organizational levels to create and develop a learning and engaging work climate. By educating and mentoring colleagues in both general and specific matters, you actively contribute to enhancing the quality for tenants.

As a specialist nurse assistant, you will coach and guide your colleagues within your area of expertise based on the organization's goals, routines, and under the delegation of the responsible nurse (PAS).

You will work in your team according to the same work schedule as your colleagues and with regular nursing tasks, but you may also be assigned to work in another team based on your area of expertise if the need arises. You should be able to drive the work independently, based on assignments from the unit manager, and collaborate with other professionals and report to them.

You will work preventively, with measures, follow-ups, and development of the organization. Other tasks include documentation according to applicable legislation and work with various quality registers. The assignment is primarily governed by the Social Services Act (SoL), the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (OSL), the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL), the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations and general advice, as well as municipal governing documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education as a nurse assistant
• Further education as a specialist nurse assistant
• Documented work experience in care and nursing
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as documentation is part of the tasks
• Good computer skills and documentation habits

It is an advantage if you have knowledge of Senior Alert, BPSD, and Life Care.

Probationary employment may be applied. Karlskrona Municipality works with full-time as the norm and offers 100% employment rate but with the possibility of part-time. Working hours are scheduled during day and evening hours on weekdays and weekends. Karlskrona Municipality works with collaborative shifts, which means that part of the working hours may be performed at another workplace.
