About the role

As a service technician, you will be a key person in Solaris' ongoing electrification journey. You will be based in the workshop in Gävle, where you will primarily work with electric buses, but also with gas-powered buses. The work will mainly take place in the workshop and to some extent at customer sites or in other regions, primarily in Dalarna.

Your main tasks will include:

- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electric buses (focus on high voltage and 24V systems)

- Repairing and maintaining electrical systems, IT systems, mechanics, and pneumatics

- Performing commissioning and delivery inspections of new buses

- Handling warranty cases (extensive documentation)

- Collaborating with technical support in Sweden and the parent company in Poland

As the electric bus fleet grows, the role will evolve, and there are great opportunities to broaden your technical skills and participate in the delivery of new vehicles.

About you
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in electric vehicles, troubleshooting, and modern technology. You are a person who enjoys solving problems, is curious, and wants to understand how things work. To thrive at Solaris, you also need to be a team player, and it is important that you work well in a group, take responsibility, and have good social skills.

We see that you have:

- Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing vehicles

- Electrical knowledge, preferably in high voltage or electric vehicles

- Good computer skills

- A valid B driver's license and preferably also a D driver's license

- Good communication skills in Swedish and English

Meritorious:

- Experience with electric buses, trucks, or other electric vehicles

- Background as a diagnostic technician or electrician with vehicle experience

Location: Gävle, with travel in the area

Extent: Full-time

Working hours: 07:00-16:00 Mon-Fri

Salary: By agreement
