JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Lagans home care consists of 22 employees based in Åbrinken in Lagan. In home care, you assist care recipients in their homes with the services provided to facilitate daily living. Services are provided so that individuals can remain in their own homes and have a meaningful everyday life.

In home care, we work in teams, but it also requires the ability to work independently. The tasks involve supporting individuals in their daily routines as well as training/walking to maintain mobility. The position also includes performing delegated tasks and documentation related to legislation within Health and Medical Care.

Lagans home care is a team that uses both cars and bicycles. We work with flexible schedules, allowing you to plan your working hours according to your own preferences.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with training as a care assistant and a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as a B driver's license.

You have a genuine interest in working with people, a good ability to see the whole picture while also being able to recognize each individual's circumstances and needs. You have "your heart in the right place," are responsible, attentive, unpretentious, and have good self-awareness. You are well acquainted with the Swedish language through clear and well-formulated speech and have a good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing. As a person, you are open to working in other teams as needed, as we help each other between home care groups in the municipality.

You are a positive colleague who takes responsibility for your work and the common working environment. A good reception is obvious to you. You are confident and have the ability to see solutions and opportunities in different situations. Furthermore, we consider it essential that you are responsible with the ability to organize and plan, and have an open mind towards people's differences and respect for each other's backgrounds.

The work requires good documentation skills and technical knowledge in IT and mobile telephony, which means you have good mobile and computer skills.

Due to new regulations regarding protected professional titles for care assistants effective July 1, 2023, proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare is required for employment as a care assistant.
