At Norlandia Elderly Care, we are looking for you who are a nursing assistant/care assistant and want to work full-time/part-time during all or part of the summer at Björknäsgården elderly home in Boden. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful existence in their later years. We always start from the resident's will and own ability and focus on the healthy aspects. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the individual needs of the elderly. Typical tasks may include assisting with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. It's a very exciting job!

Björknäsgården elderly home is a private facility that opened in November 2019. We offer 126 accommodation places distributed across seven departments, of which 36 places are for dementia care.

The facility is centrally located with close access to animals and nature. Parking and engine heaters are available for our car-driving employees. Björknäsgården is a residence that specializes in activities for our residents, both big and small. We are looking for employees who want to be part of our team and are eager to take their contact person role to a new level.

As a summer substitute at Norlandia, you will have access to Cappy - an app that gives you real-time insight into working hours and salary. You can see preliminary salary and how extra shifts affect your pay, can withdraw up to 50% of earned salary if needed (hourly employees; 29 SEK/withdrawal, no credit/interest), and gain access to training in personal finance.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• It is an advantage if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.

• Previous experience in elderly care is strongly meritorious.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

• We prefer that you have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to provide a criminal record extract. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
