About the position

We are expanding in Dalarna and are looking for engaged hardware and electrical engineers who want to join us on an exciting journey at IKG. As a hardware and electrical engineer with us, you will work on developing and verifying advanced electrical and electronic systems for our customers who are leaders in their industries. Depending on your background and interests, you may have assignments in cable design (e.g., designing cable diagrams and installation) or electronics/hardware development (e.g., PCB design, control systems, and HIL testing).

In this role, you will be involved in various phases of development – from requirements analysis and system design to implementation, integration, and verification. The projects vary and can include everything from creating cable diagrams and installing electrical systems to developing PCBs and conducting tests in advanced testing environments. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions and can contribute to developing new methods and technologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or equivalent, or equivalent experience
Several years of experience in hardware, electronics, or electrical design
Knowledge of requirements management, technical documentation, and verification
Experience with tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or OrCAD.
Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
