We are now seeking a sports worker to cover for the absence of regular staff at Frölunda Sports Hall.

Here you will work in a varied role where no day is the same. We work with the customer in focus in a dynamic environment, filled with energy and movement, where your approach is crucial for the visitors' experience. In a combination of delivering quality and service, your main tasks will be:

Ensure that the facilities are clean and well-maintained
Provide a warm and professional welcome that creates positive experiences for our guests
Contribute to the safety and security of our premises
Develop the operations and strengthen collaboration with the city's administrations and other stakeholders
Handle simpler administrative tasks and contribute to efficient work processes

Working hours vary and may include daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. During the day, you will primarily meet school classes in the halls, and in the evenings and on weekends, the majority of visitors are from various associations.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has completed high school education with experience and good knowledge in service work. We prefer that you have training in sports, associations, or youth activities. It is also an advantage if you have experience working with children and youth or experience from multicultural work environments. Furthermore, it is beneficial if you have a background in sports or community life and are multilingual.

For this position, we place great importance on your personal qualities and competencies. To thrive in the role of a sports worker with us, you take responsibility for your and the group's common tasks. You have a good approach and a genuine interest in other people, where you find solutions and want to help provide good service. You have good collaboration skills, working well with others by listening, showing interest, and respect. At the same time, you have the ability to make your own decisions within the framework of your assignment and take initiative without relying on others. With strong commitment and enthusiasm for your work, you have an eye for detail, keeping your surroundings clean and tidy to ensure a pleasant environment.
