We are looking for staff for our cemetery unit.

Seasonal employment, 100%, from March to November.

The cemetery work is mostly outdoors in all weather and involves common tasks at the cemetery such as grave maintenance, hedge trimming, gardening, lawn mowing, cleaning, as well as grave digging/urn burial and lighter landscaping work. There is also a small flower cultivation. You will work both independently and in a team. The parish is environmentally certified and strives for sustainability in the cemeteries.

Burlöv Parish covers the entire Burlöv municipality, including the urban areas of Arlöv and Åkarp as well as some rural areas around them. Communication to the municipality is excellent. The parish has about 40 employees, of which eight work at the cemetery and the rest within preschool and the parish unit, which also includes shared administrative functions. The parish has two churches, two cemeteries, and two parish houses.

Qualifications:

- Education as a cemetery worker or equivalent and experience in green space work.

- Experience with various gardening machines. Certification/driving license for machines where required is an advantage. A B driving license is required.

- Ability to meet people in grief.

- Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Start date: By agreement.
