Personal Assistant Wanted

I am looking for a new team member who can work extra as needed when other assistants are sick or on leave. If you can work this summer, you will be prioritized!

I am a social and cheerful young woman in my 40s who enjoys crafting, being creative, and making things with my hands. I appreciate social gatherings, going out in the city, and driving – therefore, it is important for me that you have a driver's license, and if you share some of my interests, that is certainly a plus.

About the Role

As my personal assistant, you will be with me in my daily life and enable me to live an active life on my own terms. You will assist me with everything related to my daily routine – from dressing, meal situations, and personal hygiene to supporting me in activities I enjoy. I dress, eat, and drink to the best of my ability but need your assistance.

Based on my needs, I prefer that you applying are a woman.

I am looking for someone who:

• Has a positive attitude and enough patience to support me when I need your help to find solutions.
• Has experience with low-arousal approaches.
• Is empathetic, attentive, and communicative – you care as much about understanding my way of communicating as you do about supporting me in communication with the outside world.
• Has a sense of humor, because I do.
• Speaks good Swedish to ensure effective communication.
• Is smoke-free and tolerant of pets (I have a dog and cat around me).
• Has a driver's license (a must for us to go on trips together).
• Does not have physical limitations that would hinder you from assisting me with lifting and transfers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with alternative communication.
• Previous work as a personal assistant or in care.

Working Hours:

In my assistance, there are 12-hour shifts, either during the day or evening/night (sleeping on duty). Scope: The job involves hourly employment as needed with longer shifts during vacations. The workplace is wherever I am.
