We are looking for:

• General and web reporters
• Sports reporters

As a summer intern at Smålandsposten, you will be based at the editorial office in Växjö but may cover the entire Kronoberg County.

Job Responsibilities

Your tasks will include writing news articles and reports, as well as photographing still images and filming segments for our website www.smp.se (http://www.smp.se). We are looking for reporters who can work towards the web. The work is very varied.

Qualifications

Journalism education and/or experience in editorial work as well as basic photography skills.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about local journalism. You are used to taking significant responsibility, have broad competence, can work independently, and deliver well-written articles and reports with images you have taken yourself. We see that you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

You have good knowledge of society and a genuine interest in people. As a person, you are creative, curious, and enjoy working towards deadlines. Of course, you have digital skills and are accustomed to following the news flow on social media.
