Bistål in Västervik is the largest supplier of bistål in the Nordics, a step-shaped reinforcement used in masonry. Our products are of high quality and come in several corrosion classes. We also offer connection ladders and U-block reinforcements. We are known for maintaining high quality and delivery reliability.

The business started in 2001 and we are now part of the Ebim group along with Joma, Jowema, Runå Verktyg, and Scandic Wire.

We operate in a 4,300 sqm facility and a 960 sqm storage tent, which allows us to maintain a comprehensive inventory for fast and secure deliveries to our customers.

Our machinery includes:

• Pulling machines
• Welding machines
• Straightening and cutting machines
• Machines for wall ladders and connection ladders
• Galvanizing facility

About the role

As a machine operator with us, you will be an important part of our production and will work two shifts in an efficient and well-organized environment alongside a great team.

Your responsibilities include:

• Straightening and cutting of materials
• Welding
• Forklift driving
• Machine monitoring and basic technical maintenance
• Other production-related tasks

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience as a machine operator
• Holds a forklift license
• Holds a crane license
• Is technically skilled and enjoys fixing things and solving problems
• Is comfortable working shifts
• Is meticulous, responsible, and contributes to a positive and safe work environment
