JOB DESCRIPTION

As a system administrator, you will work in the Social Administration's digitalization unit alongside three dedicated colleagues; two system administrators and a welfare technician. We operate according to an established system management model with clear structure and direction, linked to our digitalization strategy. We have seen an increased need for the development of our digital systems and are therefore expanding the number of system administrators.

The role combines digital development with supporting, educating, and working closely with our operations, primarily within the Social Administration. You contribute to ensuring that the systems function smoothly, are further developed, and adapted to the users' needs in close collaboration with the operations. You may also need to support the installation of security alarms, digital locks, or other welfare technology in regular or special housing during peak work periods or in the absence of a welfare technician.

The assignment also includes your participation as a system administrator in the procurement of new operational systems for the Social Administration. You contribute with requirements specification, operational perspective, and technical understanding throughout the process from needs analysis to implementation.

You will also have an established collaboration with the municipality's IT unit on issues related to technology, security, and integration, to ensure that the systems function within the framework of the municipality's shared IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to users for the Social Administration's systems
• Manage permissions, invoice flows, incidents, and error reports
• Participate in procurement, acquisition, implementation, and decommissioning of systems
• Communicate with system suppliers and ensure that the systems meet the operational needs
• Conduct training initiatives and contribute to digital competence in the organization
• Actively participate in the administration's digitalization group
• Collaborate with the IT unit on issues related to the municipality's IT structure and technical environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained systems developer or has other relevant education. You have good digital and social skills, are structured, and enjoy a role where technology is used to simplify and improve operational processes.

You have:

• Experience in system administration or a similar role
• The ability to communicate pedagogically and clearly in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• An analytical mindset and the ability to plan and drive work independently
• Experience collaborating with different professional groups and levels in an organization.

Meritorious:

• Experience from social services or working with operational systems within social administration
• Knowledge of GDPR and handling of personal data
• Experience with the systems Combine and Time Care
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with Business Intelligence tools
