Care Assistants/Nursing Assistants Wanted for Renovated Bjästaservice House

We are looking for individuals who want to help build something new! The old Bjästaservice house is being fully renovated to create more living spaces for our elderly in Örnsköldsvik municipality, with an expected opening in March 2026.

The facility will consist of two new departments with six living apartments each – and we are seeking dedicated care assistants/nursing assistants who want to be part of this journey. We need staff for day/evening shifts at 100%, night shifts at 67.97%, and constant weekend shifts at approximately 40%. We welcome your application!

Job Responsibilities

As a care assistant/nursing assistant with us, you will work with person-centered care and support residents in their daily lives based on their individual needs. You contribute to safety, participation, and well-being for each person. At the start, the new team will have the opportunity to collaboratively establish work methods and routines to promote a positive work environment. You will be involved in creating good routines and work structures that benefit a positive work environment in the new departments.

Job responsibilities include, among others:

  • Care work based on current guidelines and care planning
  • Health and medical tasks by delegation
  • Social activation and meaningful activities
  • Documentation in the facility's systems
  • Collaboration with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant or has experience as a nursing assistant in elderly care. Passionate about person-centered care and providing good service. You are a person who enjoys working in a team but is also confident in taking responsibility independently. You have engagement and flexibility and want to help shape a service from the ground up.

The position requires proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as the work involves documentation in records, daily contact with clients, and regular collaboration with other professional groups and relatives.
