The adult psychiatric services in Örnsköldsvik consist of two outpatient clinics and a specialist psychiatric care team, as well as emergency services. The outpatient clinics have a general psychiatric focus and cater to individuals over 18 years old who require psychiatric care at a specialist level. Clinic A primarily works with patients suffering from psychotic disorders and affective conditions. The main task of Clinic B is to assess and treat patients with neuropsychiatric disabilities and psychiatric comorbidity. The clinics are centrally located in Örnsköldsvik. A total of about 40 practitioners from various professions work at the clinics. We meet patients with a wide range of psychiatric conditions. We place great emphasis on good reception, assessment/diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment. We are HBTQI certified.

We are looking for two nurses for Psychiatric Clinic B. As a nurse with us, you play an important role both as a clinic nurse and as a nurse associated with our pharmacological treatments.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with immediate start.

Nurse for Psychiatric Clinic B, Örnsköldsvik Job Responsibilities

Being a clinic nurse with us means, among other things:

• Handling incoming cases via phone (TeleQ) and 1177.se
• Collaborating with colleagues from various professions and care neighbors
• Managing functional mailboxes and LifeCare

Working as a nurse with treatment with us means, among other things:

• Follow-up of central stimulant treatment, but also follow-up of other pharmacological treatments
• An important role in the initiation of new medications, especially ADHD medications
• Relieving those who work with medication distribution and injection treatment as needed

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing

It is an advantage if you:

• Are a licensed psychiatric nurse
• Have previous experience working as a nurse in specialist psychiatry
