The surgical department at Sundsvall Hospital, with its 15 operating rooms, is one of Sweden's most modern surgical departments. The department has rooms with associated preparation rooms as well as a sterile center. The department also has a hybrid operating room. We are a county hospital with round-the-clock operations and have specialties in orthopedics, surgery, ENT, gynecology, and urology. Currently, we have a total of 78 positions consisting of nursing assistants, operating room nurses, and anesthesiologists.

We are now looking for two anesthesiologists for the Surgical Department in Sundsvall. The positions are permanent full-time with a start date according to agreement.

• As an anesthesiologist, you are responsible for anesthesia induction, maintenance, and awakening of patients undergoing surgery, based on orders from the anesthesiologist
• You work closely with the anesthesiologist and are part of a team in the operating room together with the operating room nurse and nursing assistant
• You need to be able to quickly switch between planned activities and acute situations that may arise
• On-call and transport readiness will be included in the duties in the long run

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse with further education as an anesthesiologist
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have good knowledge of English in speech and writing
