About the position

DFDS Logistics Contracts is now looking for a dedicated and meticulous logistics employee for our terminal in Arendal. The position involves varied tasks within warehousing and logistics where you will have the opportunity to develop in several areas alongside skilled colleagues. The role is partly administrative and requires customer contact and familiarity with our inventory management program MyMo. We offer a dynamic work environment with diverse tasks where you may work across several departments.

Examples of tasks:

• Loading and unloading

• Securing cargo and strapping

• Picking/packing

• Rebuilding pallets that are not whole, disposal of destruction, etc.

• Cleaning tasks

Working hours are scheduled during the day from 07:00 to 16:00 and the workplace is located in Arendal, Gothenburg. This is a full-time position with immediate start. Selection is ongoing and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

About you

We are looking for someone who holds a forklift license (experience with different types of forklifts such as small/large counterbalance, reach truck is an advantage). You are meticulous and have the ability to work goal-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are a good team player who is helpful and collaborates well with colleagues. Furthermore, you are punctual, show respect for working hours and breaks, and value working safely and responsibly.

Requirements for the position

• Forklift license A+B

• Experience with reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Good knowledge of inventory systems

Mobile consultant:

You are employed by us at DFDS Professionals but work out at our clients. Being a mobile consultant means you are employed by us at DFDS Professionals to perform work at client companies, and your workplace, working hours, and tasks may vary within an agreed service area.
