The Role as Care Assistant, Nursing Assistant and Support Staff with Us

As a care assistant and nursing assistant, you will meet people with different needs and work in their homes. It is a free and varied job where you will be part of a professional work team. No two days are alike, and the work is stimulating and never boring. Sometimes it can be tough to work independently at a flexible pace, but all the warmth and joy from care recipients, relatives, and colleagues provide new energy.

Your Role Includes:

• collaborating with colleagues and home healthcare based on good and close care as well as a rehabilitative approach
• establishing and following implementation plans and routines based on the care recipient's needs
• together with your colleagues, creating a safe and stimulating environment for the care recipient and in the workgroup

You will work according to a schedule that includes days, evenings, and every other weekend. You will walk, bike, and drive during work hours.

Your Profile

You love working with people, you are a joy-bringer who energizes your care recipients and colleagues. As a person, you are proactive, flexible, and self-sufficient in your work, seeing opportunities in changes and for development. In Kungsbacka, we strive to innovate and would like you to have an interest in testing new welfare technology. Personal suitability is highly valued.

We are looking for someone who:

• is at least 18 years old
• expresses themselves well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work
• holds a B driver's license

Kullavik Home Care is the name of the municipal home care service in Kungsbacka's own management. We operate from Kyviksvägen 2, ensuring that we are always close to those we serve. Within home care, there is an ongoing effort to clarify the role of the care assistant, meaning that as a care assistant with us, you will not perform cleaning or home delivery of purchased goods. We are proud that our care recipients reported 100% satisfaction with our service in the Socialstyrelsen survey 2023.

Our Offer and Additional Information

We offer a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement. The position is full-time or as agreed. Within the Department of Health & Care, all employees in home care and care homes are employed at a 100% employment rate, but employees have the option to reduce their desired employment rate based on the needs of the operation.

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police's criminal record must be presented. The type of record extract to be requested is Control of own data in the criminal record. Background checks may be conducted before employment. As of July 1, 2023, the title of care assistant is a protected professional title.
