At Garnis short-term accommodation, users come who, for various reasons, cannot stay at home. This may be in connection with discharge from the hospital for rehabilitation, respite/temporary care, palliative care, etc. The work at the short-term accommodation is varied, stimulating, and developing as we face new and exciting challenges daily.

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist for a short-term position until 20260331, with a possibility of extension.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You contribute your specific expertise to increase the individual's independence and participation in daily activities. The tasks are varied and include teamwork, cognitive assessments, rehabilitation, ADL, activity assessments, prescribing, testing of aids, guidance, and training for care staff.

As an occupational therapist at the short-term accommodation, you will have the opportunity to meet patients from different backgrounds, ranging from cognitive difficulties to physical limitations, and carry out a wide variety of occupational therapy measures. You have good teamwork with others at the short-term accommodation and are flexible as needs or plans can change quickly.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed occupational therapist, preferably with experience but not a requirement. It is an advantage if you have experience in elderly care and dementia care. As a person, you are secure in your professional role and have good self-awareness. You are good at structuring your work and driving your own processes forward.

You find it easy to create and maintain contacts and enjoy working independently as well as in a team.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A valid driver's license is a requirement.
