ABOUT THE POSITION

We are now looking for a student to work as a sales associate with ByBike. ByBike is a bike shop in Umeå with a strong focus on customer service. Upon starting, you will receive a good introduction to the company and its products. This is to ensure you have the best conditions possible to assist ByBike's customers in the best way.

The position starts in the spring for training, and you will work on an hourly basis as needed before the summer, approximately 10-15 hours a week. From midsummer to mid-August, you will increase your hours and work 75% or more.

This position suits you if you have an interest in cycling as a form of exercise, recreation, or experience, and you also enjoy meeting customers in your work. You believe in quality over quantity and always put the customer at the center. You are driven to make others happy and have an interest in improving in areas you engage in, whether it’s product knowledge or personal service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

As a sales associate at ByBike, you will work to receive the store's customers and provide them with excellent service. This includes:

Helping customers find the right product and working with cash sales
Handling incoming deliveries
Ensuring the store remains appealing and in top condition by restocking items, cleaning up, and displaying products

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Is a cycling enthusiast student with knowledge in training, exercise, or experiences and has at least 1 year left of your university studies
Has previous experience in a service role
Wants and can work part-time during the spring and full-time from midsummer to mid-August
Can speak fluent Swedish as communication with the store's customers primarily occurs in Swedish
