Do you want to work in a dynamic company that is in an exciting growth phase? We are looking for a Financial Assistant with a focus on accounts receivable for an interim assignment at a company undergoing change and growth. This is a 6-9 month consulting assignment at 100% with a start in early February for an introduction and handover. The assignment offers good opportunities for extension and eventually also opportunities for employment. Initially, the role is based in Borås where a hybrid setup is offered.
About the role
As a Financial Assistant in Accounts Receivable, you will be a central part of the finance department and responsible for the entire flow within accounts receivable. The role suits you who thrive in a transaction-intensive environment, enjoy taking responsibility, and want to help develop processes in a company that has recently changed its business system.
Responsibilities:
- End-to-end responsibility for accounts receivable
- Handling and matching of manual and file-based payments
- Ongoing bookkeeping
- Follow-up and analysis of open customer receivables
- Monthly closing of accounts receivable
- Reconciliation of bank and balance accounts
- Participation in improvement and development projects related to accounts receivable
During the period from February to August 2026, the role will be based in Borås with a hybrid setup (three days on-site per week). Thereafter, the role will be based in central Gothenburg.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a post-secondary education in finance and experience working with accounts receivable, ongoing bookkeeping, and reconciliations in a transaction-intensive company. You are an analytical and driven finance professional who is used to quickly getting into new tasks and has the ability to work independently. We prefer that you are unpretentious, flexible, and solution-oriented, as well as meticulous and used to working in a structured and responsible manner. We also see that you enjoy working in a team and find it important to maintain a good and positive atmosphere in the office and among colleagues. You are accustomed to driving matters and thrive with many points of contact, both internally and externally. The role also involves international contacts, so we expect you to communicate fluently in both spoken and written English and Swedish.
The assignment is 100% and is expected to run for 6 months. The company has its headquarters in Gothenburg and applies hybrid work with the possibility of working from home.
Preferred experience
- Experience in accounts receivable in a transaction-intensive business
- Experience with Business Central or similar business systems
- Experience from e-commerce or warehouse operations is a plus

You are self-driven, structured, and thrive in a changing environment. You take initiative, have a solution-oriented approach, and are comfortable working where processes are under development. You are communicative and team-oriented.
