About the Position

The main tasks in this role include service, troubleshooting, repair, and assembly of pumps and pumping stations. Daily work involves cleaning, pressure testing, commissioning, and delivery of pumps. The work is performed both in the service workshop in Vadstena and on-site at customer locations. This may involve quick interventions in other locations with short notice, which is why travel and overnight stays are part of the job. Administrative tasks such as reporting, planning, documentation, and quotation work are also included.

The start date for this position is immediate or as agreed. Working hours are during the day. The assignment is planned to continue indefinitely, where you will initially be employed by Ikett.

Your Profile

Qualifications:

You have a technical education and experience in practical workshop work.
Proficiency in computer use and experience with the Office suite, as significant emphasis is placed on reporting completed work professionally.
Knowledge of English, which is the company's corporate language.
The position includes approximately 100 travel days per year; a B driver's license is therefore a basic requirement.

Industry experience, forklift certification, hot work license, and/or heavy lifting are advantageous. It is also beneficial if you have a mechanical engineering background with machining experience in support lathes and/or milling.

To fit into the role of service technician, you need to be structured, service-oriented, and have a strong focus on problem-solving. You are practically inclined and have a genuine interest in technology and mechanics. Furthermore, you are flexible, communicative, social, and enjoy being out with customers as well as working in your own workshop.
