At Embtec AB, we work together to develop packaging that strengthens our customers' competitiveness. We are a growing company where you have the opportunity to influence, develop, and drive the business forward.

About the role – where leadership meets innovation

As the operational team leader for the Lego department, you have a central and very present role in our production. You lead and distribute the work, but you are also part of the group and work daily on the floor with the team. The operational work is a natural part of the role and an important foundation of your leadership.

You are responsible for order, material availability, and resource planning while also being a practical support in the daily work. Together with the team, you create structure, quality, and an efficient workflow.

You work closely with our project manager on both ongoing projects and the development of new products, methods, and workflows. The role suits you who thrive close to the operation, enjoy practical work, and have the ability to turn ideas into smart and sustainable solutions.

You have welding training and solid experience in welding technology as well as a good understanding of different welding methods and manufacturing processes. Your competence allows you to confidently lead the work while also participating operationally. Having relevant welding licenses is an advantage but not a requirement.

Your main responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and follow up the daily work in the Lego workshop

• Work operationally on the floor – together with the group

• Ensure material availability, structure, and good order

• Participate in the development, startup, and improvement of projects together with the project manager

• Contribute with technical and practical solutions within Lego, assembly, and welding work

• Ensure that routines, instructions, and safety regulations are followed

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a motivating, inclusive, and driving leadership style. You are unpretentious, humble, and action-oriented, and you lead by being part of the group in the daily work. You create security, build trust, and get people to work together towards common goals.

Desirable experience:

• Lego or assembly production

• Lean work

• Overall responsibility in a manufacturing operation

You are a person who sees opportunities, takes responsibility, and wants to help build a workplace characterized by teamwork, professional pride, and innovation.
