Job Description

We are looking for experienced rail welders for our client in Gothenburg, who operates within the railway and infrastructure sector throughout Sweden. The work involves welding on tracks and in rail environments, where high demands are placed on safety, quality, and precision. You will participate in projects both in urban environments (such as trams) and at larger railway facilities.

The work may involve travel within Sweden. The starting point is Gothenburg, but you may reside in another location.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on tracks and rails according to applicable standards and instructions
• Thermite welding, flash welding, or other licensed methods depending on the assignment
• Inspection and documentation of completed work
• Teamwork with other professional categories within the railway

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Documented experience in rail welding
• Relevant training and valid welding licenses/methods for work on tracks
• Experience working in rail environments

Preferred:

• Certification according to SS-EN 14730-2 (thermite welding)
• Welder qualification according to SS-EN ISO 9606-1
• Experience from tram/street rail
• Hot work certificate
• Track competence/BASÄVISTA

Employment Conditions

• Employment type: Permanent or project employment, as agreed
• Scope: Full-time
• Working hours: Varying, day/evening/night/weekend depending on the project
• Location: Gothenburg, but travel within Sweden may occur
• Start date: As agreed
