Coop Hjärup is looking for a new salesperson to join our wonderful team!

At Coop, we not only deliver great products at great prices, we see ourselves a bit like a kinder egg. We always deliver something exciting to our customers, something to play with (mainly in the kitchen but we have other things too) and of course, we have plenty of chocolate and other treats. Not to mention, customers receive top-notch service from our staff.

Working as a salesperson at Coop is a highly varied job. You will perform cashier work, sales, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and much, much more.

Your mission as a salesperson includes:

• Ensuring shelves are always fronted and well-stocked
• Ensuring all products have the correct prices
• Handling complaints and feedback from customers according to guidelines in a professional manner
• Keeping the store clean and appealing

The position is a permanent part-time employment of 15 hours per week. Start date according to agreement. A probationary period applies. Your working hours may vary as we are open when our customers want to shop, from morning to evening, Monday to Sunday.

Desirable experience:

• Experience and competence in retail sales
• Experience and competence in service professions
• Multilingual and experience/interest in different cultures

The most important thing for us is that you are genuinely interested in food, service, and sales. You should enjoy working in a team and actively contribute to creating a good work environment. We want you to have good initiative and a positive energy that is contagious, see the customer's needs, and proudly and joyfully deliver the industry's best customer service. You are driven by challenges, see opportunities, and have a desire to continuously develop and streamline both the business and yourself. We won't hide the fact that it can be a stressful job at times, so it's important that you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can maintain calm and a smile even in stressful situations. Together with your colleagues, you will be the face of the store and for you, the customer is always number one.
