If needed, we will train you when you start your employment as a timber measurement technician. Your training will take place in close contact with your manager, colleagues, and quality leaders.

Job Description

You will work at the measurement station at Karlstad Energi, which will also be the stationing location for the position. Work at other locations may occur. The working hours are currently 2 shifts with a working time of 38 hours per week. Your tasks include moisture sampling, stack measurement, chip measurement, and other relevant tasks at the measurement station such as some cleaning and administration. As a trained timber measurement technician, you will be responsible for the daily operations at the measurement station and have ongoing contact with both drivers and customers. The work must be performed according to our core values, that is, in a reliable, impartial, and engaged manner. Of course, we do it together!

You are engaged, professional, trustworthy, and can easily identify improvement opportunities to make your job better in everyday life. Furthermore, you need to be comfortable working in practical tasks and digital systems and be able to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A prerequisite for the position is that you have a B driver's license.

Desirable/Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of forestry and experience in timber measurement is considered a merit, as well as being able to communicate in English, but this is not a requirement.
