NEWREST is one of the largest multi-catering companies in the world and is present in 54 countries. We are a new start-up in Scandinavia, where we provide catering services to SAS and Ryan Air.

Due to an expansion in our customers' business, we are looking for drivers for loading and unloading catering services at Copenhagen Airport. Specifically, the tasks consist of:

Tasks

• Loading and unloading of equipment from and to trucks from aircraft and ramp

• Checking the number and type of equipment before loading.

• Ensuring that the cargo is delivered within the deadline and in the right condition (including with the right seals).

• Communicating by radio with relevant colleagues regarding transports

• Moving around the airport while observing internal and external guidelines (e.g. traffic and safety rules).

• Filling out various safety documents, including HACCP

• Helping to ensure that all equipment (including trucks) and ramps are in good condition and order

• Communicate and collaborate in a service-oriented manner with internal and external partners (including cabin crew).

Profile

The right profile is characterized by:

· Being able to demonstrate attention, precision and stability.

· Having experience from working in an environment where hygiene, quality and safety is paramount.

· To have good communication and collaboration skills.

· To be able to work under pressure.

· To be able to work in different shifts, including occasionally on weekends.

· To be able to communicate in Danish and preferably also English.

· To have a full truck driver's license (Cat. ‘C’) and preferably an EU license.

· To be flexible and adaptable

· To be able to communicate in Danish and English. This requirement is mandatory.

· Experience in driving a high loader is considered a plus.

· Living in Denmark or Sweden.

If you meet the above criteria, you are well on your way to becoming part of the NEWREST family. You will have approx. 59 colleagues in our Drivers department and become part of a unit with approx. 350 employees in total.

The job is a full-time position, which means currently 35.5 hours/week incl. lunch break. There will be evening and weekend work.

Due to the nature of the work, you must be able to pass a background/security check, which requires, among other things, that you can present a clean criminal record.
