About the Position

As a test driver for our client in Hällered, you will work on conducting various tests on new trucks both in teams and individually. The assignment largely involves test-driving the client's trucks to ensure the quality of new models. Working hours are scheduled between 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM, so we prefer that you are flexible with your working hours and are someone who is willing to work unconventional hours.

In the role of test driver, your main tasks will include:

Test driving trucks, both long and short distances
Testing functions and wear testing of trucks
Reporting any issues and data
Reporting test results from, for example, wear and speed tests
Inspection of the vehicle and trailer, as well as minor maintenance/repairs performed daily or as needed

The position also requires some flexibility as tasks may periodically be performed abroad or in northern Sweden; at other times, work will be carried out in Hällered or the surrounding area.

About You

You who are applying have a strong interest in vehicles/trucks and follow the industry's development. It is an advantage if you have a mechanical or workshop technical education or good experience in truck mechanics.

As a person, you are flexible, committed, and cooperative. You have a high ability to communicate and perform your tasks carefully with a strong focus on safety. We are looking for a self-driven and analytical person who is good at detecting faults or problems, such as unusual noises or similar, and who is driven by problem-solving. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in any form of testing activity.

Important for the position:

Previous professional experience driving trucks
CE driver's license
Good Swedish and English in speech and writing
Self-driven with good analytical skills

Preferred qualifications:

Mechanical or workshop technical education, or good experience in truck mechanics
Experience in testing activities
ADR, forklift license, and wheel loader license
D driver's license
