Solliden Castle is the royal family's summer paradise on Öland. The unique Solliden Castle Park is visited by approximately 70,000 visitors annually.

In addition to the park, we also work with exhibitions, guided tours, and events. In the Castle Shop, we offer customers a unique selection of gift items.

Our restaurant, Kaffetorpet, serves warm, well-prepared food, hearty sandwiches, and salads. We utilize the harvest from Solliden's garden and are constantly working to improve our offerings.

We are now looking for guides/castle shop assistants for the 2026 season.

About the job

During the season from May to September, we offer guided tours in the castle park for groups and individuals. The daily tours are conducted in Swedish, but for pre-booked groups, they can also be held in English and German.

At other times, you will work in the Castle Shop with entrance sales, sales of gift items, and more. For those interested, there is also an opportunity to work with other tasks related to our events.

We are looking for someone who:

· Is interested in history and comfortable speaking in front of groups.

· Enjoys meeting people and is service-oriented.

· Is stress-resistant and proficient in languages. Swedish and English are required, German is an advantage.

· Is at least 20 years old.
