The Role of General Dentist in Oral Surgery

As a general dentist in oral surgery, you will work full-time at the Oral Surgery Clinic, Ryhov. Here, you will be a resource in the dentoalveolar process flow with a focus on minor surgical procedures, primarily wisdom tooth surgery. You will independently, as well as under the supervision of senior dentists, provide dental care for the clinic's referral clientele. We collaborate with both general dental care and healthcare in public operations as well as private actors in Region Jönköping.

There is also an opportunity to participate in emergency services with acute patient cases both during the day and outside regular working hours.

The position is temporary for 12 months with the possibility of extension. Start date according to agreement.

At the Oral Surgery Clinic, we treat patients who need specialist dental care in dental physiology, oral surgery, dental radiology, and orofacial medicine. Your Profile

To qualify for the role of qualifying dentist, you must have a Swedish dental license. You should have practiced general dentistry with both adult and pediatric patients for at least two years and have a strong interest in, and some experience with, oral surgery.

You, as an applicant, feel secure in your professional role, which results in your ability to independently prioritize and make decisions. As a dentist, you are careful and quality-conscious in your interactions with patients. You communicate well with both patients and colleagues and contribute to a good collaboration at the clinic. You can receive feedback and guidance in a humble manner.
