At Alleima in Sandviken, the Freight & Logistics Planning and Development department works to ensure the best possible transport solutions for all our products. We collaborate closely with our product areas to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and strengthen the connection to our business. We are now looking for a dedicated and service-minded individual for the position of Transport and Logistics Planner in our shipping department, a role that involves significant responsibility and extensive contact surfaces, both local and global.

Your Role

As a Transport and Logistics Planner, you will coordinate both national and international shipments of our incoming and outgoing deliveries to and from Alleima. A large part of the work is performed in our logistics system Sandship according to established processes, work instructions, and routines based on applicable laws and regulations for national and international freight handling and customs regulations. You will have operational responsibility for a subset of our flows, managing contact with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally. As part of a larger team, you will become an important cog in Alleima's logistics.

Main Responsibilities

· Planning shipments for all modes of transport

· Close collaboration with operational loading personnel

· Cooperation with carriers to ensure delivery to our customers on time, at the right cost, and with the right quality

· Contact with customs, the Central Swedish Chamber of Commerce, and similar organizations to ensure compliance with existing regulations and requirements

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree for the position, preferably in logistics, or equivalent knowledge through previous experience in a similar role. Familiarity with international freight handling processes and customs procedures is considered an advantage, as well as previous experience in planning and customer relations. Since we operate in a global corporation with international contacts, strong skills in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are required.

You are a good communicator who understands the importance of excellent service, which is reflected in your positive attitude towards both internal and external contacts, and you always strive to provide the best possible service. You are resilient under stress and can work towards set deadlines even under pressure, and you enjoy the challenge of handling multiple cases simultaneously.
