Technical Project Salesperson at Regal – Uppsala
Do you want to help build a new service business where technology, system understanding, and business development meet?
Regal Components is now looking for a technical project salesperson who wants to drive their initiative in system integration, development projects, and consulting services within electrification and automation.
This is a unique opportunity for you who want to work with advanced technology, close to customers, and in a role where you can influence both the business and Regal's future position in the market.
Regal – more than a component supplier
Regal is a technical specialist company within Axel Johnson International and offers, in addition to system components, knowledge, functionality, and system-level solutions together with its own technical specialists and development partners.
As electrification, control, and automation become more complex, Regal is now taking an even more active role as a system integrator.
The Role – Drive Regal's new service business
You will work on selling services, feasibility studies, development projects, and system integration – rather than individual products. The goal is for Regal to take a clear role as a technical partner to OEM and industrial customers and help them develop their machines and applications.
You will:
- Identify and initiate development projects with customers
- Sell consulting technical services, feasibility studies, and system integration
- Work closely with designers, development managers, and project teams
- Lay the foundation for future component sales by owning the integration
- Represent Regal primarily as a system integrator and secondarily as a component supplier
- This is consultative sales in its purest form – long-term, advisory, and technical.
Who are you?
- You have experience in technical sales, project sales, or system-oriented customer dialogue. You enjoy complex technical challenges and feel at home in environments where you can combine innovation, consulting, and business development.
We believe you have:
- 5-15 years of work experience in the technical industry – preferably hydraulics, automation, mechatronics, control systems, or development projects.
- Engineering education or equivalent technical education
- Experience in service sales, consulting business, or solution sales.
- Ability to drive business from early idea to signed project/business
- Competence to understand systems, mechanics, and integration
- Natural ability to build trust in technical dialogues
You are curious, analytical, relationship-building, and enjoy working together with technical specialists.
