Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone with industry experience to work independently with manufacturing and assembly tasks in various metalworking assignments. You and your colleagues will work from our workshop on Augustenborgsgatan but will often be out in the city of Malmö on various assignments to fulfill different orders. We manufacture, for example, metal decorations for Malmö city's outdoor spaces such as flower baskets, fences, and entrances, scooter racks/stairs/railings/walkway grids and lighting fixtures. Your tasks include manufacturing, maintenance, sheet metal work, welding methods, assembly with excavation, and repair work in various metalworking assignments. This can include fences, bike racks, trash bins, and dog waste bins.

You will provide service to and maintain close contact with the customer during various design and special assignments. You are proficient in reading drawings and can translate the client's sketches and drawings into products. Our main clients are the property and street office and the urban properties department.

You are expected to master material quality and make choices, perform, and ensure various welding methods, 111, 135, and 136 with MIG, TIG, and stick welding.

On-call work may occur.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who can/has:

• Vocational high school education in sheet metal and welding or equivalent education deemed comparable by the employer.
• At least two years of relevant work experience
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to read drawings
• Ability to perform various welding methods with MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Ability to perform physical work such as excavation and casting
• Driver's license for manual transmission vehicle
• Basic knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Basic digital skills

It is advantageous to have:

• KY education with a focus on metalworking
• Training in hot work
• Safety on the road
• Long experience in the profession
• Experience with LEB
• Experience with EN-1090
• Forklift license
• Hot work certification
