In Sweden, Nexans has its headquarters in Grimsås, a small community in Tranemo municipality. The Nexans group has committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 in line with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and was the first company in the cable industry to establish a foundation, the Nexans Foundation, to promote long-term projects that provide vulnerable communities around the world with access to energy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Our production consists of several different departments where the common goal is to contribute to our overall strategy, to Electrify the Future. We do this by producing a range of different types of cables.

The tasks vary depending on the department:

• Mixing
• Drum Repair
• Warehouse Department
• Production Departments with drawing machines, cabling machines, sheathing lines, or extrusion lines (injection).
• Production Department with delivery winding machines

Regardless of the department, you are responsible for one or more machines and for quality throughout the process.

The majority of our production jobs have working hours of 3 shifts, Monday to Friday, no work during major holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• has a high school diploma
• is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written
• has basic knowledge of English
• has full color vision

It is an advantage if you have:

• forklift license
• previous work experience in the industry

Personal qualities we are looking for:

• meticulous in their work and has a strong focus on quality
• able to handle stress and is structured in their work
• good collaboration skills and enjoys working in a team towards a common goal
