Our colleagues Linda & Jaqueline are looking for a new hungry colleague who wants to help create even more business for Steam Hotel. We are in a very exciting time as we have a major investment in B2B and want to see that business grow significantly!

At our destinations, yes we call our hotels that, we work with anything but traditional meetings. For us, the experience is the most important thing, and we focus on the overall business. We work with Bleasure – the feeling of being on vacation with the company while brilliant ideas are brainstormed. What does this role at Steam entail? In this role, you will be active in our local area, processing potential new customers. The role includes finding new business opportunities and growing the total meeting business.

The focus for this role is the local area around Steam Hotel and the local companies that are close to us. Your focus will be to be out meeting new potential customers who have meeting needs. You will spend most of your time contacting customers through meetings, showings, and calls - all with the goal of creating business. You will hold customer events and be active in Social Selling via platforms like LinkedIn.

The work involves:

  • Getting our customers and prospects to hold their meetings and events with us.

  • Owning the business from needs analysis to ensuring that the deal is right for the customer and for Steam Hotel.

  • Working with the local area as a focus, to find needs for both overnight and day conferences through new customer outreach. All with the focus of ensuring that the deal is as good as it can be for Steam Hotel and the customer.

  • Working towards set goals and being motivated by working towards high targets.

  • Our vision is to create regular guests, and we see the whole picture in the long-term business relationship with the customer.

You will be based at Steam Hotel and report to Malin, Sales Manager, while also being part of a central team at ESS Sales with other salespeople across our destinations, Client Success Agents (inside sales), and others within ESS Sales.

About you

  • You are a person who spreads a lot of energy and has the ability to find business opportunities in every situation.

  • You are a social person who enjoys creating memorable experiences with customers and establishing long-term relationships.

  • You are a highly driven person, with strong motivation, and are extremely solution-oriented, where change and development are a natural part of your way of thinking and being.

  • You enjoy working towards high goals and are motivated by winning business.

  • We are looking for someone who is self-driven but also loves to work in a team where we celebrate both individual and collective victories.

  • You always strive to find ways to develop both yourself and the customer experiences.

  • You have good communication skills and master both Swedish and English in speech and writing.

  • It is a plus if you have a large network around Västerås/Stockholm and experience in similar tasks.
