We are now looking for a Transport Manager for the Biofuels Business Area. The Biofuels Business Area drives and develops REMONDIS Sweden's biofuels business, which is currently in an expansion phase with a strong focus on growth and business development. The Biofuels Business Area optimizes the business, which mainly consists of wood waste from forests, industry, and households that is refined into quality-assured raw materials. As a logistics leader within the Biofuels Business Area at REMONDIS, you will have a role with significant responsibility, and together with your team, you will work on efficient logistics solutions for sustainable and long-term customer relationships and results.

As a Transport Manager within Biofuels, you are responsible for ensuring efficient and qualitative logistics solutions that optimize the biofuels business. You work closely with business managers, administration, logistics companies, upstream customers, and downstream customers to ensure high delivery precision and smooth processes. You report to the Business Area Manager for Biofuels.

• Ensure efficient logistics solutions with high quality to optimize the biofuels business.

• Maintain and develop relationships with logistics companies.

• Have a good understanding of where and when capacity is available, and provide market managers with updated prices.

• Ensure that routines are current and relevant.

• Receive and forward instructions from downstream customers and warehouse terminals to transport companies.

• Follow up on quality and delivery precision.

• Maintain continuous contact with fuel/ordering technicians at our downstream customers, which consist of energy companies, forestry industries, and companies that recycle waste wood into new products.

• High school education

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Driving license B

• Good knowledge of the Office suite, especially Excel

• At least five years of experience in long-distance transport

• Route and capacity planning

• Price negotiation

• Daily operational management of transports

• Contact with suppliers and customers

• Experience working in VIOL.

• Experience with national and international transport by truck, train, or boat.

• Structured, organized, and meticulous.

• Service-minded with a good ability to create relationships and networks.

• Curious and development-oriented.

• System-oriented and quick to adopt new digital working methods.

• Good collaboration skills and a natural team player.

• Solution-oriented, with good planning and prioritization skills.

• Comfortable handling a fast-paced environment.
