For our operations at the Ringhals nuclear power plant, ISS is looking for employees!

We are looking for service employees for Ringhals for two different types of employment; employment during the revision and longer employment for our daily operations. The positions we are looking to fill are decontamination, lifting and transport operations, and laundry handling of protective materials.

For revision employees:

The work is scheduled during weekdays, weekends, evenings, and nights, according to a shift schedule.

Accommodation options near the workplace are available. The employment form is fixed-term employment.

Revision dates at ISS Ringhals 2026

• Ringhals R3: May 4 – July 6
• Ringhals R4: September 2 – October 6

For employees in regular operations:

During the period from 2026-05-01 to 2026-10-06, we need daytime staff. The working hours will be scheduled from Monday to Friday 07:00-15:30. The employment form is fixed-term employment, but there is a possibility of extension after 2026-10-06.

About the decontamination position
Decontamination involves several common tasks such as scrubbing, high-pressure washing, vacuuming, wiping down, waste management, welding and flushing field construction, system cleaning, and handling of vegetation boundaries. Work at heights, in confined spaces, and with full masks is required.

About the laundry handling/protective materials position
We are responsible for ensuring that there is clean and functional protective equipment available at the specified location in the facility. This involves handling protective clothing, helmets, shoes, and restocking supplies. There is also some cleaning work primarily performed in controlled areas.

About the lifting/transport operations position
This involves performing safe lifts and transports within Ringhals. The tasks include transporting goods to and from designated locations within controlled and uncontrolled areas as well as moving concrete blocks, equipment, components, and similar items. A valid and approved training is required - KIKA, Gray, Green & Yellow (Crane operators in nuclear facilities).

We prefer that you have previous experience working in nuclear power plants. It is important that you master the Swedish language. A driving license (B) is an advantage. Another requirement is that you are at least 18 years old.

Other
Since the work is performed at the Ringhals nuclear power plant, a medical examination and drug test will need to be conducted. All staff at Ringhals also need to undergo an approved security clearance interview.
