Your new job

In your new job, you will belong to the Property Department, which is responsible for ensuring that Jönköping Municipality's operations have functional and sustainable premises. Through long-term planning, energy efficiency, and good maintenance, the department develops, builds, operates, and maintains the municipality's properties.

In your role as a property technician, you will have significant responsibility for the operation and maintenance of technical systems. You will work closely with your team, contributing together to create and maintain good relationships with tenants and operations in the municipality's properties. The role involves many contacts, both internally and externally, which means you thrive in social settings. To succeed in the role, good computer skills are a prerequisite as our workflows are digitized.

Your tasks

• Operation, maintenance, and upkeep of the property's technical systems
• System maintenance
• Troubleshooting
• Repairs

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who has the ability to create and nurture good customer relationships and is calm and accommodating in your approach. The role involves contacts both internally and externally, which requires good collaboration skills. You work analytically and take responsibility for your tasks while driving your work processes forward in a structured and organized manner. You also adapt easily to changing circumstances and embrace a problem-solving approach.

Requirements

• Education as an operations and property technician or relevant work experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Good technical understanding of the operation and maintenance of properties.
• Ability to work with administrative support systems in a digital work environment.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
• Driver's license B (manual transmission).

Meritorious

• Experience in similar tasks within a property operation.
• Further education in property technology, such as facility manager for fire alarms and hot work.
• Specialist knowledge in electrical, HVAC, or control and regulation technology.
• Familiarity with modern property systems and technologies.
