About the Role

Do you want to be part of developing the packaging solutions of the future that make a difference for both the environment and the consumer? As a Packaging Developer at Orkla Foods Sweden, you will play a key role in our launch projects where you are responsible for creating innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable packaging that supports our strategy and strengthens our brands.

What You Will Have the Opportunity to Work With

With us, you will have the opportunity to drive and be responsible for packaging development in various development and launch projects as well as to develop and optimize the packaging portfolio in a sustainable direction. The role is broad and includes everything from minor updates to larger concepts. Furthermore, your role will involve but not be limited to:

  • Ensuring that packaging solutions meet requirements for user-friendliness, production efficiency, environment, logistics, food safety, and cost-effectiveness
  • Monitoring trends, suppliers, and the market
  • Participating in cross-functional projects within innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Contributing with cost improvements and new ideas for existing packaging
  • Administering and documenting packaging data and specifications, drawings, certificates, and other documentation
  • Having many points of contact and collaborating closely with product development, marketing, purchasing, production, and suppliers

Who Are You?

To succeed in the role, we see that you have a Master's degree in a relevant field, e.g., engineering or packaging technology, as well as experience from the food or packaging industry.

  • Good knowledge of packaging technology, material science, packaging legislation, production/process, business systems, and project management
  • Experience working in systems such as Excel, Cape Pack, Dragonfly, and SAP/PLM
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and good knowledge of English
  • Ability to work in a structured manner, drive projects, and collaborate with many different functions
