About the role
As a Supply Network Planner at Orkla Foods Sweden, you will play a central role in leading and developing planning for some of our production facilities across the country. The focus will be on optimizing production planning and inventory management, where delivery reliability and cost efficiency are paramount. The role involves both strategic and operational responsibility as well as close collaboration with factory management, and it serves as an important driving force in the S&OP process. With us, you will become a key player in an engaged team where collaboration and innovation are crucial for success.

You will be part of the central Supply Planning team and report to the Supply Planning Manager at the headquarters in Malmö, but the position will involve monthly visits to the factories for which you are responsible for planning, and you will have ongoing close collaboration with planners and other roles in the factory. In the central team, you will be involved in the development of processes and system support and be part of an experienced team driven by working together to achieve success.

What you will have the opportunity to work with:

  • Be responsible for Supply Planning for several production facilities, from strategic to operational level, in collaboration with locally placed planners.
  • Lead and develop planning processes to optimize production planning and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with factory management and drive improvement work together with colleagues cross-functionally.
  • Use and develop system support (IBP/SAP) to streamline planning.
  • Lead and participate in important meetings within the S&OP process, including Supply Review and Demand Handover.

We hope that you who apply:

  • Have a master's degree, preferably in Supply Chain, or another academic degree combined with experience deemed equivalent.
  • Have experience in Supply Planning, business systems (preferably SAP), and good general system competence.
  • Have experience working with Supply Chain processes and in the S&OP process.
  • Have experience and business understanding of the manufacturing industry.
  • Are analytical, structured, and have good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Have good collaboration skills, enjoy working cross-functionally, and preferably have some form of leadership or project management experience.
  • Communicate fluently in Swedish and English in both writing and speaking.
  • Be based in Malmö, flexible with travel (about 5-10 days/month) to production facilities. Hybrid work is applied in agreement with the immediate manager.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience working in the food industry.
  • Specialist knowledge in the planning area such as PLAN CPIM or APICS CSCP.
