About the job

You lead high-impact, business-critical transformation programs that span continents and business units, directly influencing the direction of Seco and the broader Sandvik Group. Your ability to inspire and mobilize cross-functional teams, from senior executives to local project leads, foster collaboration, innovation, and a relentless focus on outcomes. You drive the adoption of cutting-edge methodologies and digital solutions, setting new standards for operational excellence. Owning the full project lifecycle, you move seamlessly from strategy and planning, including timelines, budgets, resources, and change management, to flawless execution, risk management, and continuous improvement. Above all, you champion a culture of adaptability and growth, ensuring that transformation is not just delivered, but sustained.

What makes this role unique is the scale and visibility of your impact. Your work touches more than 3,700 colleagues across 75 countries, shaping the future of manufacturing and engineering. You present directly to functional management teams and to the Seco Executive Management (SMG) team, with your insights and leadership influencing decisions across our organization.

The location for this position is flexible within Europe, preferably close to a Seco site. Your team operates primarily in Sweden, England, Italy, and France. Hybrid arrangements in your work offer flexibility, so you can balance life and work.

Your profile

A university degree or project management course sets the foundation. Extensive experience in leading high-impact, strategic projects – especially those involving complex change in large, multinational environments – makes you stand out. You’re used to working with senior stakeholders to drive organizational transformation. Acting in a truly global environment, you need excellent skills in English, verbally and in writing.

Adaptability is your superpower. You thrive in dynamic settings, respond quickly to shifting priorities, and build trust with executives, department heads, and local teams. Your strong communication skills help you convey ideas and feedback clearly, while your leadership inspires teams to reach common goals. Problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and initiative keep projects moving forward, even when challenges arise. You’re proactive, organized, and always looking for ways to improve.
