About the Position

Sherwin-Williams is a global leader in paint and coatings solutions with a history spanning over 150 years. In 2010, we acquired the former Becker Acroma, which has since been part of the Sherwin-Williams group. Globally, we have over 63,000 employees, of which 330 are in Sweden, spread across four locations with manufacturing in Märsta and Bellö, a central warehouse in Nässjö, and a wholly-owned retailer in Vaggeryd. In Sweden, we focus on industrial surface treatment of wood and metal, where our units play a central role in our total sales in Europe.

We are now looking for an experienced Team Leader for our production facility in Märsta who wants to help drive our production forward. The role is a central part of our daily operations and has a clear responsibility for creating a safe, efficient, and well-planned work environment where both people and production can develop.

Your Role

As a Team Leader, you have a key role in keeping the production together – both in daily operational work and in overall planning. The role ensures that production has the right conditions to deliver according to plan, follow up on deviations, and coordinate efforts in the flow.

You lead morning meetings, follow up on planning, and support operators in operational decisions. You work closely with other support functions in the organization to ensure a safe work environment, high quality, and continuous improvements.

The position is a staff role with working hours from Monday to Friday. You report to the Operations Manager and have personnel responsibility for up to 25-30 employees who handle filling and internal logistics.

Your Responsibilities:

• Operational responsibility for daily management in production.
• Personnel management and coaching.
• Decision support in prioritizations.
• Follow-up on production outcomes and deviations.
• Ensure work environment routines and that processes are followed.
• Leading daily pulse meetings and weekly production meetings.
• Work with continuous improvements, e.g., standardized working methods.
• Coordination with production and support functions.

Qualifications

· 5–10+ years of experience as a team leader or some type of leadership with personnel responsibility in the manufacturing industry.

· High school education or equivalent.

· Good computer skills.

· Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

· Experience working with 5S and following SOPs.

· Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on facts.

· Experience with improvement work and LEAN.

· Economic understanding.

· It is highly meritorious if you have worked in the chemical/paint industry.
