Junior Mechanic / Equipment Mechanic at EMS

– New modern facilities in Rosersberg

EMS is now looking for a junior mechanic / equipment mechanic for their workshop. In the spring, they will move from Upplands Väsby to completely new and fresh facilities in Rosersberg, which means a modern working environment and good opportunities for you to develop in the role.

At EMS, you will work with assembly and adaptation of construction machines in a technically varied job where mechanics, electricity, and hydraulics interact.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of mechanic, you will work with:

• Assembly of standard and additional equipment on construction machines (mechanics, electricity, and hydraulics)
• Assembly and calibration of tiltrotators and control systems
• Manufacturing of fastening elements, including machining, welding, and painting
• Adjustment, functional testing, and final inspection of finished machines
• Quality assurance and initiation of warranty cases for product defects
• Documentation in the form of images and information in the business system
• Reporting of improvement suggestions regarding article structures and assembly instructions
• Various yard work such as unloading and preparing machines for delivery
• Ongoing time reporting according to current routines

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Basic understanding of mechanics, electricity, and hydraulics
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation, such as electrical and hydraulic diagrams
• A careful and quality-conscious working method
• Good collaboration skills and a positive attitude
• Flexibility and ability to handle changes and reprioritizations
• Good computer skills

Experience from similar work is an advantage, but we also welcome junior candidates with the right attitude and technical interest.
