Welcome to an important mission where you, as a cleaner, contribute to ensuring that patients, visitors, and staff are greeted by clean premises every day. The cleaning department is a part of Regionservice, where about 120 employees work across 5 divisions. We work to keep the premises clean, but above all, to minimize the spread of infection. This is a job that contributes to societal benefit!
As a cleaner at Ljungby Hospital, you will primarily clean care departments and clinics where you work closely with both patients and clients, contributing significantly to societal benefit. We are now looking for a new employee to primarily work with deep cleaning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working in deep cleaning means ensuring that our premises are in good condition. Responsibilities include dusting, removing stains from walls, and performing floor care in our departments, clinics, and common areas at Ljungby Hospital. We also perform construction and relocation cleaning.
The work also involves daily cleaning of patient rooms, operating rooms, corridors, waiting rooms, and other common areas as well as offices and administrative spaces. On behalf of our clients, we also handle orders and unpacking of laundry and consumables.
The tasks can be physically demanding, so you need to have good physical fitness and enjoy being active. It is important for us that you, as an employee, thrive and have a sustainable work life, and we continuously work on our work environment.
As a cleaner with us, you play an important role in ensuring a clean and pleasant environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Our working hours are mainly daytime from 06:00 to 15:00 with flexible working options, but there is also work in the operating department from 09:30 to 18:30 and work every fourth weekend.
QUALIFICATIONS
It is an advantage if you have a high school diploma and experience in the field. You must be at least 18 years old by the time you start working.
We are looking for someone with drive and commitment who wants to influence and develop the department moving forward. What we consider important and will value is that you have a good attitude, a willingness to develop, are responsible, meticulous, have good teamwork skills, and good physical fitness.
You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in speaking, reading comprehension, and writing, as well as some computer skills. A B driver's license for a manual transmission is a requirement.
