Environmental Worker in Älmhult

As an environmental worker at PreZero, you will have a varied and practical full-time job in waste management and recycling. Here, you will become an important part of a team that works with the environment, safety, and quality every day.

This staffing is a collaboration between us at Manpower and our client. You will be employed by Manpower but will work on-site at the client in Älmhult.

About the job as an environmental worker

As an environmental worker at PreZero, you will work operationally with waste management and recycling. The role is practical, varied, and requires good physical condition. You will rotate between different tasks at the facility, warehouse, and yard, where handling hazardous waste occurs daily. The work is both independent and in teams, and you need to be flexible as the workdays can look different. Traffic safety and customer interaction are important parts of the role.

Your tasks:

• Handling of waste and recycling materials
• Forklift driving with wheel loader and counterbalance forklift
• Warehouse work and material handling
• Handling of hazardous waste according to current procedures
• Outdoor work and in traffic environments with a focus on safety and customer service

Additional information

• Location: Älmhult
• Start date: Immediately
• Working hours: Daytime 07:00-16:00
• Assignment length: 6 months, with a great possibility of extension or employment with the client

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is meticulous, efficient, and responsible. You are organized, good at planning your work, and have a positive attitude. You enjoy collaborating in a team but can also work independently. Flexibility and the ability to quickly reprioritize are important qualities for success in the role.

Requirements for the position

• Forklift license for wheel loader and counterbalance forklift
• ADR training
• Driving license B

Meritorious

• Experience driving wheel loaders and counterbalance forklifts
• Experience in warehouse work
• Driving license C
